We are a canoe and kayak livery on the Mad River, in Springfield, Ohio. The Mad River is one of 3 chief tributaries flowing into the Great Miami, with each tributary being distinctively different. The Mad River, itself, distinctively varies, as well, from its source to its mouth. Mad River Adventures is one of only 2 liveries on this body of water and our site has been a functioning canoe livery for almost 50 years. River goers love the mix of adventure and calm that this portion of the Mad, closer to its mouth, provides. Our livery opened in 2013 and we provide outfitting for 4 trips - 3, 8, 11, and 16 miles. We also provide on site primitive camping. All of our trips do require a reservation as well as paddling experience. Give us a call.
