We are a Seasonal Business and will re-open in April 2025. The Camp Hi livery includes over 250 canoes, kayaks and paddle boards, the largest selection of boats in the area. Camp Hi offers 4 different trips on the Upper Cuyahoga River, designated a State Scenic River in 1974. Paddle a canoe, kayak, or paddle board down on a trip lasting from one to six hours. Camp Hi Canoe Livery began renting canoes in 1966 with an old limousine as the shuttle vehicle, a trailer, and six canoes. The Camp Hi property on the Cuyahoga River has been in the family since 1928 when Robert Grueninger opened Camp Hi for boys boys. The orginal camp closed in 1978, but the river continues to provide a memorable experience for thousands of visitors every year.
