Tandem kayaks and single-person kayaks are available. Experience the tranquil beauty & wild life of the Boyne River as you meander along the curves and bends. Customer Pick-up location: Old City Park on River Street in Boyne City. Kayakers are driven to the head of the Boyne River, on Dam Road, using a 10-passenger van. This is an adventure, so expect obstacles such as low hanging branches, down logs, brush piles, and fishermen. You may tip over, so be prepared! The trip is 5 miles: the first two miles are challenging, the rest is a breeze. There are several spots to take a break on shore, yet respect private property signs. Respect the river.
