We offer two-hour kayak and canoe rentals at this location, available for booking both online and over the phone. The Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge covers 145 thousand acres of one of Florida’s most prized national treasures, the Everglades. This beautiful refuge has been serving as a habitat for wildlife and endangered species since 1951 and includes 45 miles of biking trails, including 36 along the levee, a 5.5-mile paddling trail, 3 public boat ramps, a fishing pier, a boat staging dock, and 2 walking trails. It is a prime birding area with over 250 species of bird, like the endangered snail kite. Other wildlife include alligators, deer, turtles, snakes, and fish.
